Sunday Bloody Sunday.

Party Poker has a $166,000 Bad Beat jackpot going on right now. THIS IS INSANE!!!! To qualify you must get 8 of a kind or better and be beat. This “Bad beat jackpot” is a lot higher restriction than most poker rooms but for $166k its well worth it to try your shot at it.

Click here to checkout PartyPoker’s $166,000 Bad Beat Jackpot.

Speaking of insanity, Pacific Poker changed up their software added a few new features of their own. The client is looking good and their servers have always been the most dependable.

Finally, poker professional Gus Hansen’s PokerChamps is conducting their beta-test and offering $10 free-roll’s every 2hours. I’ve won about 5 so far, hoping this stupid beta test ends soon so I can collect my cash.

Thanks to everyone who has made the members section a HUGE success, if your not a member already — your missing out!

Welcome Back

What a weekend, I can’t believe its Monday already. I can already tell its going to be a great week for Poker. If I had to choose a favorite poker room today, it would be Pacific Poker. Why? Well I was playing in a $200 + 1 SNG this weekend, and although I didn’t win it was the best online tournament I had ever been in. I had never laughed so much and found so many people I had things in common with. If you don’t have an account there already — check it out, its also the best because it only requires a $20 deposit. I mean if you have never played online for real before, what’s $20 to try-it? Honestly, you’ll thank me.

Pocket Kings

How many times do you get these and an ace flops and someone bets it. I can’t stress how important it is to play pocket kings safely but strongly. Bet too strong and you’ll scare everyone out, conversely if you bet them recklessly you will almost certainly lose.

Tips4Poker Members Section

Featuring very valuable information for your poker game will be available sometime very soon. Keep visiting T4P for your chance at a free membership and some other great gear.

Big Day For Me

Second of all. I won over $300 in a two hour stretch at empire poker playing 3/6! Honestly, its like taking candy from a baby. I couldn’t believe how many people I was playing with had no clue how to play. Overplaying the good hands and underplaying their mediocre hands. Empire poker is definitely your spot for fish!

This Month In Poker.

A few big things happened in poker this month. A new version of Calculatem and Poker Office, found in our 3rd Party Program section. Fulltilt gave away a few thousand free t-shirts and hats to thirst poker players. Pacific Poker gave out a lot more cash than they expected. And Tips For Poker proved that Online cheating did exist at one time. All this fun stuff and the month isn’t even half over. Check back tomorrow for a special update.

Guess what? Our members only section is coming soon, you won’t want to miss out when we launch it at the end of this month by giving away memberships!

Bonus Exploit @ Pacific Poker?

It would seem that currently at card room Pacific Poker, in addition to getting your current 25% Bonus on your initial deposit (min $20.) you also get a continual 25% Bonus on all of your deposits? Don’t believe me, try depositing two $20 increments yourself. Is this pacific pokers way of continually rewarding players, or a bonus exploit?

As commented on in Rec Poker

“As soon as I deposited the $50, a box popped up saying my account was credited with $10. This amount showed up in my cashier total, and my bonus points total had 0 dollars pending. So I requested the entire $70 for withdrawal into NETeller and was approved. About two minutes later, another box popped up saying my account had been credited for $25. I put in another withdrawal request and it was approved.”

Some people have reported it hasn’t worked for them. I’m guessing probably current customers. So if you’ve never played at Pacific Poker try it out. It’s a small investment, for what could be a big return.

VIP Player Status, which card room treats you the best?

In my vast experiences of online card room’s I’ve had my share of being pampered by VIP hosts. I’m not talking 20% bonuses. If a card room wants me to play, then they’re all over me just like Vegas does it. Calling the cell phone just to let me know about a huge tournament coming up, free chips, nice leather jackets overnighted to my house. Though it happens rarely, nothing makes me more happy to lose money than when I get a call the next day letting me know they credited my account with almost half the nights losses.

For all you big time players out there I must recommend you to PacificPoker.com, a card room that truly takes note to your card playing and feels comfortable pampering you. Check it out today!

Read this article on cheating poker in the past, and why its much harder to cheat poker today.
Cheat Software

Picture of GUI for the Cheat program

Picture of the Cheat Program GUI.

Excerpt: The program then generated shuffled decks of cards until it found a deck that contained these five cards in the proper positions. Since the Randomize() function is based on the server’s system time, it was not very difficult to guess a starting seed with a fair degree of accuracy. After finding a correct seed once, it is then possible to synchronize the exploit program with the server to within a few seconds. This synchronization enables the exploit program to accurately guess the seed being used by the random number generator, and to identify the deck of cards being used during all future games in under one second!

Playing Dirty

One of my favorite things to do is play dirty. Why? Because it makes for an action packed game. Here are some of my favorite ways to play dirty:

* In tournament play state “I’ve got to go, someone take my chips” when you have an incredible hand. Then go all in. Usually at least one idiot calls.
* If you have pocket aces, announce it. It will throw people off and most will doubt you have it.

Try these methods of playing dirty in a freeroll first. If they workout add them as tricks up your sleeve for your game play.
