EG the real I can get alot of new members here if you would like, my forum texasholdemforum has over 4,000 members and Im sure IF you offer some kind off freeroll some time next week or next month I can advertise it on my forum for you.

Itll bring in alot of members.

Holding freerolls at multiple sites gets you noticed. The players want to get into the freeroll and in turn check out your site. Holding contests like you have on currently works great too.

private freerolls for sure that really attracts members, i saw one forum grow from 11 members to over 600 in 3 months and is doing very well now.
maybe add league games, people enjoy competition and seeing results like a tourney leaderboard..

A Tourney Leaderboard would be pretty sweet. Freerolls get members here but what we need is a consistent community. Ya know, something that keeps people coming back.

This is a great board and there's a lot going for it, but I feel we need something to kick start the momentum that will turn this board into a well known forum.

Not sure if this has been suggested before, but I just noticed this while reading the FullContactPoker forums. It's a freeroll tournament at RoyalVegasPoker.com where you represent your favorite poker forum. Apparently, the winning forums win freeroll tourneys for their members in addition to the cash prizes individual participants can win. I know we're a small forum, but it could be fun and generate some interest.

Ya thats a great idea we are a pretty tight knit board we could potentially rock something like that.

We plan to have some great freerolls and events coming soon. The numbers have been increasing lately, but we need some more interaction. The weekly or bi-weekly freeroll will then have it's own Tips4poker leaderboard. After so many events the top 3 will then be placed in other tournaments covered by Tips4poker, assuming we get enough players playing. Keep the posts coming and the freerolls and events will follow. If you have any questions or suggestions please let me know.

I don't have any specific suggestions, but let me know if I can help somehow. I really like the forum although I don't really know many of the people, yet it seems like a good place/forum. I'll tell a few people about this forum that I know, who are really into Poker.

Thanks for the support Steve. I always like to tell people the effort you put into this board you usually get 10 fold out from it. Meaning that just a little participation can lead to you getting large rewards (in terms of knowledge, and sometimes even in prizes ) Anyhow, welcome aboard!
