By far Omaha in my opinion is the easiest way to make money online. Especially the Hi/Lo games. Most people it seems want to try something new and do not understand the game, even when i explain the game to them while they are waiting, Though the odds are better in everyone's favor with 4 cards instead of two sitting in your hand

At the low stakes Omaha and O8b are definitely games which a somewhat skilled player can beat regularly. Despite the fact that you take many more bad beats, I've found my profits to be a little more consistant than with holdem. I prefer playing pot limit in these games. There are just so many was to get drawn out on even when you flop the nuts that I like being able to make a big bet.

I agree, most players seem to be stud or holdem players that just decide to give omaha a whirl. They usually end up losing their buy in (some times more than once if you get lucky and get a live one) and go back to their regular game. I was at a .25/.50 PL O8b table one day and watched a holdem player who had just finished 6th in a MTT holdem event the day before, drop nearly all his winnings from the day before in less than 2 hours. He just kept making and calling big bets and while he occasionally would win, it was never enough to balance out all the loses. I personally busted him twice and that made my week profit wise for O8b. Pot odds and knowing all your outs and which may be counterfited are the keys to omaha. That and always drawing to the nuts unless its a really shorthanded game.

At the low stakes, skill plays a lot less of a role than discipline. Low stakes Omaha8 is generally all about having planty of outs and being able to fold. You can't bluff at all.

I agree. Usually anything lower than a 10/20 middle limit game, the majority of pots will be multiway. There are many playable starting hands, and even more that look playable to bad players but aren't that you won't win your money by bluffing. You will get paid off by those chasers or the second nut draws that hit there hand when you make the nuts. In general, play any A2xx hand for O8B but you really have to develop a feel for when you are getting quartered and when you have a hand that can scoop. I like pot limit when it comes to split because I almost always get paid off on the end when making a pot sized bet w/ the nuts.

Keep in mind that in omaha, and O8b especially, you will get drawn out a lot more than you ever will in holdem. Rarely in holdem will you hold the nuts the whole way only to lose on the very last card. Knowing you odds and which outs are clean or tainted makes all the difference in the world when it comes to having a winning or losing session.

One other word of advice for those who want to give omaha a try. DON'T SLOWPLAY! Unless you flop a monster hand like a strait flush or quads, you should be betting out. You can occasionally try for a check raise in a multiway pot but you have to be sure someone is going to bet. Giving a free card is very dangerous in omaha with so many possible draws against you.

At omaha hi/lo, a medium skill and a high skill player should win. There are more fish at low level games. Also the skill difference between a medium and a high skill player is not as important at omaha hi/lo than in holdem.

I love playing Omaha hi low its the best. Still I play holdem alot more. But Theres nuthing like a good game of omaha.

I myself dont like Razz or Paigow, I never really understood Pai Gow, anyone wanna tell me how it works?
