Just Started playing Poker, Need Help

This is my first post here, so hi everyone,
I learned to play poker(texas hold'em) 2 days ago. I liked it very much but I wonder if I can be a poker player(gain income just from poker). Of course I'll have to study and play at least a year but I liked it very much. My best hobbies are chess and starcraft. My chess rating changes between 2000-2100 and I am one of the best five starcraft players in my country, which means I like strategy games and spend time playing them very much. I live in Turkey. Are there people who make a living out of only playing online? I am studying chemistry at university right now but I don't like it(actually I hate it ). Can anyone give me suggestions about where to start learning? I started playing on http://www.online-poker-winner.com (not with real money of course). I would appreciate any online strategy guides.
By the way the site I mentioned says it can't be used for profesional play, does this mean if you win too much money they don't give that much real money? Someone please explain this.
