That's a wonderful post. Thank you for sharing very useful information. This great demand for poker games has made poker coaching a very lucrative affair. . The advantage you have is that you will get to choose who your poke coach will be. Your decision regarding the coach will be determined by his ability to turn amateurs into pros and his reputation among players

if you are looking for a "pro" as a coach, you probably need to play against them and impress them... but if you're looking for just anybody w/ a good sense of the game, i'm available for the right price.

Glad this got brought back up. I've been thinking about this since my last comment and really have come to the conclusion that there are folks who fit this description exactly. They understand the game, sitting in their armchair and taking the poker quizzes they get the answer right every time. But, put that at a table with actual money and their brains shut down.

Someone like this could make an excellent coach.

well i guess it wont hurt. joining a good site with good rake back can help as well if your getting serious about it. it helps in the long run. u can find a bunch at around 30%, i play at a place called they offer over 30% at times, and go up to as high as 40% depending on your play.

I couldn't agree more that everyone could do with more information no matter how good they are and every little helps.

After a week of bad beats and bad play, poker players usually get this feeling that they need a poker coaching session. Then 2 days later after stringing together a few wins, that feeling leaves and all is good again. However all this means is that you may have run better or played slightly better, but have you actually increased your skill level in those past 2 days. This goes to show that making the decision to get a poker coach usually occurs after running bad. For more information you may check this link
