I was the one who gave out the bad beat and this was a home game many months ago and a hand i'll never ever forget. I can't remember exactly the suits, but i remember how the cards were dealt

Im on the button and i am dealt :ts: :tc:
I forget what the blinds were but lets say they were 100/200 in this case.

I raise it up to 600 preflop and i get re-raised to 1400 and call.

FLOP:
:th: :9h: :4c:

I have the nuts and the top set. He checks and I decide to gamble and check to try and intice betting on the turn with the flush / straight draw. Remember he raised preflop and its only heads up

Board looks like this on the Turn

:th: :9h: :4c: :9s:

He checks again and this time i put a bet out around 1000 as i am no longer scared of the straight or flush and i get called.

River now shows this

:th: :9h: :4c: :9s: :td:

I know have the nuts and after a check i put out a bet and am raised all-in and of course i call

He showed :9c: :9d: and i couldn't beleived what i seen. I was shocked and couldn't beleive my eyes, but i don't think i'll ever see anything like this again.

Losing with quads has got to be the worst. I lost with 4 jacks to 4 aces about a month after I started playing online. I couldn't believe it since the odds are so rare against it. Unfortunately I wasn't playing where a bad beat jackpot was offered either so I lost a bunch on this hand.

What was the reaction of the guy that you beat?

thankfully the stakes were low, but it was a surprise on both our parts... when i seen 99... i said "Oh my Gxx" and he was in shock, coming into and now still the 2nd best hand i've ever seen lose is a full house.
