First of all before all the american patriotic ppl come to attack me i got to tell you , i am not american (and not french so don't worry )
(cause we all accept that we all "hate" Frenchmen ) and i will let you ppl guess from wich country am i.
Secondly i got to tell you that i love the U.S i went there a few times to travel i have family over there my country is quite a real partner on the U.S but as we all know there is a wave of hate against the U.S in the last decade and the "pick" of it was the terrible terror atack in 9/11 (fuck bin laden!!!!), but i won't treat the "Islamic" problem over here rather of that i will treat the reason that "normal" western countries are taken the opposite side against the U.S, yes i know it is tough for you American's to think about it but you are not very popular those days in the world i will try to explain and i will bring one good example of the "American way of living" and i will take it from the field that we all share and love "online gambling".
Well as all of you know there are a few states in the U.S that the online gamling is permited and there are some that not ,o.k till now everything is normal.
Well our story got a twist when recently the N.Y state found an online casino and poker (http://www.PacificPoer.com/?sr=323961) operator that is sited in the bahamas "guilty" and demanded from him to close the online casino or at least not permiting the N.Y residents to bet in it!!!!!! all of that because an N.Y resident played in the online casino and lost his money (thing that can happen in the casino ,,duhhh ).
Well maybe i need to explain to you american ppl the absurd of the decision that the court (the american court) had.

If gambling is not permited in the u.s or any other country in the world it is the resident problem of not following the law of is country and not the online gambling operator (that is permited by the law in the country that the servers are located),.
The precedent of that decission is quite "danguerous" cause tomorrow an pro western country web site will lte ppl in Iran to buy "western" movies (wich are not permited in Iran) and the Iran court of law will take charges against him!!!!
WEll i got ot tell you to go easy on me cause English is not my language so hope i was o.k secondly i am waiting to "hear" from you ppl about the subject
Yours Tomas. (from the second and some times the first most hated country in the world )

tompas,

Not sure what to think of your rant. I truley believe it should be up the the consumer on where they spend the money. You have to remember is the USA, if Uncle Sam doesn't get a piece it will most likely be illegal. One day the US economy will adjust these laws. Until then, we need to just keep playing.

I have a feeling that if online poker continues to grow then laws will be adjusted somewhere. Some state will give in and allow online poker, it will probably get challenged by the federal government but ultimately I think the states will prevail and maybe in the next ten years we will see online poker rooms that operate out of the USA.
