Alot of people seem to hate the "automated" shuffling machines @ Brick & Mortar casinos similair to the same way they believe that online poker is rigged.

How do you feel about mechanical shuffling machines?

Apparently, these machines cannot be purchased and are only available on a lease program. Because, the company that creates them has a lock on the technology behind the automated shuffler.

Your thoughts on that?

I like them, makes the game go faster and I feel it does a better job of mixing the cards better than manual shuffling.

Now for BJ, I hate them, prefer manual much more.

I remember playing at a blackjack table almost 4 years ago. I sat down right before a shuffle. The machine went to work. I told myself to walk away. Bad Omen. But of course i stayed and lost $500 in about 30 minutes. It was unreal. When I got up the hot dealer said to me, did I kill you, sorry. I almost lost it.

As for the poker tables, I guess it is no big deal since you are going against the players and not the dealers. Speed is a nice factor.
