Didint get one hand in an hour, lost badly in a $2 and $1 multi tourneys.
So decided to "waste" $5 playing a SNG
Had nothing for a good 20 mins... when I say nothing... I mean 10 3 off, I got with some regularity. By some mircale I was patient and just kept folding.. for a while I didnt get 1 hand with 1 high card... was getting fairly bumed!
Things turned around and I ended up winning $22.50 taking 1st in the SNG.
Though this might be a good thread to make... post your winnings here!
BTW
Noble poker is a good place to make little bits at a time. Ive played in 3 freerolls.. won $1.50, $.25 and finished just out because I called a bad hand. (2 pair VS 3 of a kind)

Congrats!
No first places for me yet, but I was quite happy to finish 14th out of 250+ in a tourney at Bodog the other night. =D
It was my best finish to date, winning $24 off a $7.50 buy in.

Just won a little 38 person $5 MTT on Absolute.. it was a tourney run by PSO (if you've ever heard of them I won't give the link because I'm not sure if it would piss EG off) I mean. It was only $70 but still feels good to finally get to a final table again.
Oh well I got a free little 300 chip set too go along with it :). Gotta love the free chips.

ZerOT,
Congrats man. It definitely helps to make the final table, and winning makes it that much better. We'll be having some events coming up soon. Keep your eyes open.

I have two notable finishes in MTT lately. In a $10 54 person I had a huge chip lead when the tourny ended with the final four players. And I had a 5th place finish in a 271 player $15 tourny.

I won a $33, 50 player Million dollar qualifier online. The big tourny's in three weeks.
I've been to about six final tables but mostly qualifyin tournaments and qualified in each one where top 6-8 go to the big tourney.
This is the first time I've placed first.
Now if I only can win when actual money's on the line, haha

Yea man I wanted to play the other tourney ya'll had running but I'm having issues with Noble and my credit card. (Name for the account is not the same on my credit card, oh well, long story) Maybe sometime you guys will get a tournament going on another site until then it's just to much of a hassle to put money on Noble... Especially since I don't care for that site all too much.
Maybe in the future I'll get around the issue though.

Not really a big winning story, but I did take 8th place in a $5500 Guarantee multi table tournament on the Prima Network. It was an unlimited rebuy in 1st hr / addon tourney ($20 entry/$20 rebuy/add on ) but I only rebought once and didn't add on. It should of been higher than 8th as I fought from the short stack to become a middle stack, but in a very strange hand I received KK and couldn't lay it down even though two people before me went nearly all-in, as I thought my hand was good. Long story short: AK vs my KK vs QK all ins. AK won hitting gut shot straight on turn and I finished in eighth. Got $250 for it but with the winner getting over $1800 it was dissapointing, but I'm starting to get to the Final Table of Multi Tournaments more often (finished 10th at one the other day), so I'm due to not get unlucky at one eventually.

Steve,
Sounds like you have found a little stride in the multitable tourney's. Keep up the good work and first place will follow. You made the right move with the cowboys. Online tourney's is all about volume. Just keep playing them and eventually the suckouts will go your way.

Yeah, you won't win em all but if you play enough and play well, eventually you'll win some. At least thats the way I look at it (although it hasn't happened to me yet!) and all I can do is keep trying to improve because every tournament I play, I make mistakes whether minor or major. Although I have questioned myself a few times, I still believe moving all-in with clearly the best hand was not one of those mistakes. It feels like I get sucked out all the time, but all I can do is keep playing the best I can and eventually things will turn around.
